"Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world." Harriet Tubman

It's not easy developing your brand or getting yourself and your online store known.  It's not easy, and it's possible only if your online store causes visitors to skip a beat.  But how is that done?  Is it even possible?

So what is it that I actually do here?

Hello friends / fans / followers,

It is my great pleasure to promote internet stores and generate traffic in those stores through social networks – an endeavor which leads to sales.

Besides the promotions on Facebook with which you are familiar, or promotions in the internet commercial arena, it is always advisable to learn and understand the field of the social networks as well.  And even if you are not a technical person, and you don't get along with computers, you are capable of learning.

Today there are several prominent social networks that are able to present your brand to thousands of potential customers around the world by "lighting it up" with exciting colors.

Let's start with Instagram. Its advantage is the ability it gives you to upload posts with tags that are related to your interests, and which of course connect to your target market (do you have a target market?  If not – find it), and the items you sell, and immediate feedback after uploading.  A good product gets likes, a good product gets comments.  A good product that looks good – eventually gets sold!

The next network is Pinterest.  Uploading items to Pinterest is an investment for life, because, as opposed to Facebook, where posts made to promotional groups disappear after a few hours, on Pinterest the posts remain forever.  Even after a year, a potential customer can see the item, "fall in love" with it, click on the link, enter the store, and make the purchase.

And last but not least, Polyvore.  With Polyvore you prepare sets, advertise in groups within the site, and upload the sets to all of the leading social networks, including Instagram.

Why is this good?  Because a set attracts more attention than a photographed item.  Sets get more likes and views.

And now for the million-dollar question: Does it work?
1. Everything works when you pour your soul into it.
2. It is very important that all the pictures of your items / the items you are selling be of high quality!  Be original!  Be diverse!  In order to stand out you need to brainstorm for at least a month and think about how to best photograph your items in the perfect way that will get them sold.  Sometimes you can dream at night about the perfect design for your store and about the way its appearance will promote your items, will tell your story, and sometimes there is a spark of cosmic ideas!
3. Always have a notebook and pen handy! – so that the ideas don't slip away, and you can write them down.
